IEC Opens Council Applications to PhD Researchers
The International Eczema Council is pleased to announce that we are now accepting membership applications from our PhD colleagues.
This inclusion has the power to:
• Enrich our community with diverse perspectives
• Enhance our collective efforts in advancing the understanding and treatment of eczema
• Expand our membership
• Strengthen the relationship between MDs and PhDs focused on atopic dermatitis.
Whether applicants hold an MD, a PhD, or an equivalent degree, criteria for prospective IEC members include a good professional reputation, a demonstrated special interest in atopic dermatitis, and completed research related to atopic dermatitis.

Global Atopic Dermatitis Atlas
The first Global Report on Atopic Dermatitis, the Global Atopic Dermatitis Atlas (GADA) launched on October 18, 2022. This a collaboration between the International Eczema Council, the International Society for Atopic Dermatitis, the European Taskforce for Atopic Dermatitis, the International League of Dermatological Societies, and the International Alliance of Dermatology Patient Organizations (Global Skin). In the Fall of 2024 an updated report has been published.
