Join the IEC for a special symposium addressing the Impact of Environmental, Food, and Contact Allergies on Atopic Dermatitis. This symposium will take place prior to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI) 2025 Annual Meeting.

Register for this course through the AAAAI Meeting registration site. You can register for this course only or can you register for both the full annual meeting plus this course. Note: The AAAAI charges a $10 fee to register for the course, which includes a snack.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES 

  1. Recognize environmental contributors to the development of atopic dermatitis including perinatal antibiotic exposure, air pollutants, and the role of climate change.
  2. Discuss the crosstalk between the skin, gut, and lung epithelium in driving allergic conditions.
  3. Optimize AD management by correctly identifying adults and children who are appropriate for patch testing and gain strategies to avoid potential contact allergens.
  4. Review the changing treatment paradigm of atopic dermatitis and whether novel treatments can halt the atopic march.
