PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Atopic dermatitis is the most common inflammatory condition of the skin. The cutaneous clinical manifestations are well recognized by dermatologists. However, the “invisible” manifestations of atopic dermatitis is increasingly being recognized. The goals of this session is to hear and discuss with international experts the hidden challenges of atopic dermatitis and how to best manage and address these comorbidities.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Discuss the significant psychosocial comorbidities associated with atopic dermatitis and strategies for effective intervention
• Recognize that patients with a long history of atopic dermatitis can have overlying allergic contact dermatitis
• Discuss long term, non-cutaneous, comorbidities of atopic dermatitis
